I’ve realized that as I descend using downward pick slanting, my hand has a tendency to want to move closer to the 6th string or else I feel like I’ll miss it. I’m fairly supinated.
For instance, if I’m playing 4 note per string spiders, when I’m at the 5th and 6th my hand wants to come closer to the guitar. I assume the term may be it flexes a little bit.
This in result gives me some unneeded tension.
When playing slow, if I just raise my hand a little bit or my arm I realize I can just stay in a straight line vertically the whole time and the lower strings are actually within my range of motion.
Hope this makes sense. Wondering if anyone here ever struggled with that, and found a good solution to replace that bad habit?
