So I did a thing and learned Avenged Sevenfold’s “Beast and the Harlot.”
I’ve always loved that song, and I’ve always wanted to actually properly learn it.
So I did, took me about 15 minutes, solo and all (not joking). None of my tremolo guitars are set for Drop D, so I had to make do with my Les Paul and approximate those sounds.
Rig used is a Bogner Uberschall 100W EL34 amp, Hesu 2x12 cabinet with the Demon speakers, Peterson Mini Strobe, Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor, and a Line 6 Helix Stomp for my chorus and delay effects.
I do have more covers and live footage of my progressive thrash project, Thy Kingdom, to show as well, but I like this kind vibe.
I know I’m not the best videographer, and it is my phone’s camera audio, but yeah…
