So once again, an online guitar contest has popped up and of course I had to give it a go!
It’s always fun to try to come up with something new for myself for these backing track challenges.

Thank you very much! It’s worked out in advance, but a lot of the ideas came out through improv originally and then selected and refined into the final solo. Some of the licks are a bit too intricate to come out organically like that in improv.
And yeah, the guitar is… special!

Thank you very much! I’m happy to share! I’ve thought about maybe making a video shwoing the process from start to end, but when there is a deadline on these contests I kind of just want to get it out the door and be done with it fast. But hopefully I can do something like that eventually.
