Hey Everyone - wanted to share my transcription of Cecil Alexander playing Four on Six (Wes Montgomery tune.)
In general, the technique here is medium/up tempo USX motion but you’ll find some interesting places where the motion is perhaps DBX. You’ can see some phrases with “double downs” as well as an instance of displacement and a “hammer-on from nowhere.” In general, really cool lines and phrases and interesting ways to outline the changes with USX - enjoy!
