Hey everyone! Longtime YouTube CtC viewer but I just recently joined the forum. Troy’s series has begun to really transform my picking! I’ve been playing 30 years and have developed a certain level of playing skill but the shred style that I grew up loving has always eluded me. Thankfully Troy has taken the time and shared his expertise and discoveries with us!!

Your story sounds very familiar. I’ve also been playing for 30+ years and could never get past a certain point despite practicing up to 8 hours a day for months on end. I pretty much gave up until CTC and the whole concept has motivated me to see if I can now do what I never could before. I’m about a month in and practicing 2 hours a day on average and starting to see some results. Anyway welcome to the forum!

Yup - I actually lived in Providence for about six months about… Jeez, fifteen years ago? But I’ve been just outside of Boston pretty much ever since. Go Sox!
