A: Less than a year, spread out from different stages in my life (giving up but back on the ball) - What musical genres are you interested in?
A: Metal, (Death, Thrash, Power, Symphonic, groove, nu metal, on and on and on) Alt Rock, Classic Rock, Pop, Kpop, Jpop, Dance (Italo Disco, Dance pop, HI-NRG, 80s, 90s) Classical,
Game music especially Nobuo Uematsu or Dragonball. Film music like Lord of the Rings and Star wars soundtracks. Anime soundtrack stuff. Kdrama OSTs, TV /animation music. - Particular things you’re excited to learn / talk about here?
A: Getting out of a technique practice rut. Finding other people who have issues I went through that I may know the answer to help as well.
How have you gone about learning guitar so far?
- Self-taught? Regular lessons with a teacher? Both?
A: Online teacher , ie Art of Guitar, Paul Gilbert, this thing here, Roy Ziv - Have you spent much time on technique before finding our stuff?
A: Yes. - What Cracking the Code material have you watched?
A: EP 1-4, some other random YT ones - Can you comfortably play a scale? At roughly what speed?
A: Can play Am Pentatonic, G Major, A Major, A couple of positions. Not sure of speed - Any particular things you find yourself stuck on?
