Smashing Pumpkins and Opeth being back was not on my 2024 music bingo card.
I didn’t mind some of the post Heritage era stuff but every time I listened I just would rather listen to actual 70s prog.
So the new album is a concept album a la Still Life aka their best here’s to hoping it’s that level. But a radio edit in 2024 is kind of funny. Is this an elaborate prank by Mikael Akerfeldt.

Amazon music has the unedited version, so I imagine Spotify etc… does as well. It’s a full minute longer, all of that minute occurring where the radio edit ends.
