One Pick Strike Per Fretting Finger Movement?

Serious question:

I was watching an old Yngwie instructional video and also one of Troy Grady shredding an Yngwie style lick. What really puzzled me was when I tried to follow the lick, it sounds (to my ear) like there are multiple pick strikes per fretting finger movement when played at full tempo.

Is this simply an audible anomaly, or are some of these runs a combination of alternate and tremolo picking???

Thanks for your input…

Could you post a link for reference? If your slowing the video down, the delay will ring like your in some somebody else’s trip.

Edit: from the vid you sent me, it sounds like pick chirp as I explained, just adding this here for others, didn’t know there was a post limit!

Edit2:

This is the vid for reference since you can’t post it, others can respond too.
