Hey Folks,
I am currently learning the classic tune “Cliffs of Dover”. It took me a few weeks to memorize the song. I can play most of the song in the original tempo, but I need to increase accuracy for the really fast licks like Intro and the middle-solo-passage.
In my last thread I was told that I was on the right track with building my wrist-motion, so I thought: Why not train the motion on a really challenging song? (Does my wrist motion work? - #10 by Sixpasher)
The problem is: I feel like I cannot replicate the same motion while playing the tune. It would help me a lot if you could take a look at some licks that i played at 90% og speed and give me some feedback. To me it looks like my wrist is kind of stiff and I move my arm to pick.
I know that there is still a lot of work to do, but I really like this piece of music and am willing to put much more time into practicing.
