Problem with bridge anchoring/dragging

This one should be fairly easy to explain. I much prefer to attack the strings from the same angle when I can, so I move my arm accordingly, as opposed to the fixed wrist approach favoured by Andy Wood. The problem is with this is that when I try to play the bottom strings, I encounter a dip which throws my playing off as my hand begins to slide off the bridge. The closest thing I have to a solution is for me to anchor with my pinky to compensate when playing the bottom strings. I hope this makes sense. Any suggestions?

Bottom being the wound bass strings? Or plain treble strings?

If you hold the pick with index n thumb, What I do instead of having my palm slide all the way to the top, my palm stops before it’s at the top of the bridge, my wrist bends up slightly towards the bass strings, and my thumb and index do the angling or twisting of the pick, so the pick remains relatively in the same angle as when playing the treble strings.

A pic or video would be good if you can get one.
