RDT DBX - The More Supination the Better?

Will experimenting with more supination help me achieve higher levels of fluency with RDT DBX or can maximum levels of fluency be achieved with minimal supination?

My thinking is that as long as I’m not causing any arm pain AND I can maintain a zero degree pickslant then trying to introduce more supination might allow me to make a motion more closely aligned along the RDT axis of motion.

I notice when I experiment with this the motion does feel different, instead of feeling like I’m just picking on a string it feels like I am making a gesturing motion with the hand. Wondering if this is worth pursuing or if I’ll just be wasting my time?
