This is no knock on the platform. When you’re categorizing every picking motion known to man, it’s sort of collateral damage that there’s gonna be a LOT of terminology lol! And it’s super easy to get dyslexic and switch them, since all the motions are binary. Maybe DBX we could get away with thinking as not a binary motion. But yeah, the number of times any of us have swapped USX/DSX, Dart Thrower/Reverse Dart Thrower (again, not Troy’s fault as he didn’t come up with the name but I don’t like that one. I think Inverse Dart Thrower is more clear lol).
Even Downward pickslanting is tough. Part of the pick points down, part points up, so even that has tripped people up. After a while it all becomes second nature. It’s like a 100-level college course.
