Just wanted to post this here, had a bit of an epiphany today tone-wize.
It’s just early days on this tune, improv with bum notes, fair warning!
I dropped the gain, and changed a bit of the other settings on the amp.
More dynamics and manageable.
This was unintuitive but it got easier on both hands, picking hand has a lot less damping to deal with, but the fretting hand feel improved and oddly less effort needed now!
I’m using a YJM strat with 5mm action on the 12th with 8-46 strings half step down if anybody is interested via a DOD YJM 308.
