Yes, I’ve seen that. And what I find especially interesting in that one is there’s at least one spot where you can see Parrish ease into his playing with a slower sort of exaggerated crosspicking-like motion before he kicks into full speed.
He seems to have a type of fluid-wrist thing going on, similar to what Andy Wood does.
It’s interesting that Parrish mostly doesn’t find it appropriate to inject that kind of “guitar nerd rock” flavor of fast alternate picked stuff into his Steel Panther work, though he clearly has had the chops for a long time.
