I’ve been practicing primary plus secondary motion ever since I joined the forum, however, I think I might be doing it in a not so beneficial way. I prepare everything. For instance, if the first string I have to play ends on an upstroke, I start using DWPS from the very first note, and if it ends on a downstroke, you guessed it, I start it using UWPS.
I started doing this because I didn’t read the article on the Pickslanting Primer. I just read the article on it and the way the players listed in the articles play, seem to reduce a lot of cognitive load. But, I’m writing because maybe the way I’m doing it is fine, it will get better with time. But for now, I’m finding even difficult to be spontaneous with it.
