I am new to this forum.
I am playing guitar since 7 years and mostly I play shred or I want to play 
So my problem is that my when I am alternate picking I do hammer on which is very difficult to listen.
Like if I am playing 3 notes in single string
The second notes sounds like hammer and then pick and then the 3 note.
It’s very minute. How can I fix this @Troy

Can you share a video of what you’re doing?
And, aside from whether or not it’s “right,” how does it SOUND? Like, if you’re mixing in hammered notes with alternate picked notes, does it still sound good, or is the problem here that there’s something wrong with the sound you’re producing?
