It’s been a while since I sat down with a backing track and just let it rip, but I just restrung my Kiesel so seemed as good a day as any. Kind of cobbled together a few different run after playing over it a bunch of times and stoped with this take.

@cmcgee11235 What I like about your playing is that there is there is nice contrast going on with your bends and other licks mixed in with the shred. Makes it really nice to listen to.

Thanks! I definitely care a lot about phrasing and using shred as a dynamic tool, so appreciate hearing that. I think I took that to heart from Frank Zappa and Steve Vai, and there’s nothing I like more than a really accomplished player who can throw in really nice bends and vibrato to punctuate a run, something I’m always working on.
