I use a Quilter Aviator head with two 12" cabs and I’ve noticed that it sounds like a** when unless I have the speakers plugged into specific jacks. They’re both the correct ohm reading, but now I’m wondering if the wires from the cab jack to the speakers themselves have to be going to specific ‘poles’ on the speaker. Is that a thing?
Edit: leaving this up for… yeah.
It turns out, I’ve had my speakers out of phase for many, many years.
