One thing I’m noticing - I find it difficult to get over the lower strings on the intro run, I think I’ve got a strategy that I could lock into muscle memory, but UWPS I feel like I don’t have anything good in place to handle the low strings. I’m trying both the thumb bend and just pulling my arm up to rest the outer heel of my palm on the bridge.
It’s less of an issue on a 6 string but still a little awkward. Part of it could also be the type of trem system, on my JEM it’s more comfortable, on this one the trem system sits higher and the bridge is wider being a 7 string.
