This first submission is not as granular and methodical as I think most of the submissions are supposed to go for technique. I get that you start with tremolo picking and then single string accuracy then more than one string to check USX and DSX technique. So if this is not a good first post just let me know.

It’s a legato/pic lick. Just direct into the amp. Not a lot of gain. The first passage is at speed. The next is the same thing slowed down. Hopefully you can see the pick angle good enough.

I can try a faster lick if you want to see more picking failure LOL.

Too slow and too much legato to evaluate your technique properly. Can you show us what happens when you try to tremolo? Try upwards of 170bpm 16ths :slight_smile:

Self-critique - at slow.mo,.some of my 16ths “gallop” so sloppy timing on a few. I will say i was aware. Maybe I will do a cleaner take. Also, the view isn’t ideal so maybe I will grab the pic higher. I.e. hard to see what’s happening
