The Shakti Dobro

So here is a Harley Benton dobro, that I scalloped with a dremmel multitool. I have a very light gauge, .08, so bending is super easy. This is short clip, just to test it out. I am playing “the mcLaughlin pattern”. East meets west?

Very cool and Sounds great! It’s like a delta blues Sarode - perfect for Shakti. Do you have closeup pics of the fretboard?

Thanks! Yes, I do. It also has the strings i used.

It is kind of crudely done. I think a file is a better choice for more control. The scalloping was done long ago, but the picture is from a recent “guitar care day” where I gave the fretboard oil and polished the frets.
