I have to travel from Boston to NYC to see a hand specialist, and I need to bring an instrument to the appt. I’m planning on taking an Amtrak since I’m very uncomfortable with my ESP being out of my sight on the road, or handled by some rando. It sounds like it’s not “oversized” baggage per the Amtrak website, and a quick Google and perusal of forum threads makes it sound like this has not been an issue for folks, but I was wondering if anybody else on the forum had had experince with taking your guitar on a train?
