UA Paradise Guitar Suite Plugin

Anyone else here use this? I just picked it up - mostly because the Plexi plugin that came with my UA Apollo interface purchase this spring BLEW. MY. MIND. It’s so good. I have a Tone X, and I tried everything to make that stupid thing work; no dice I hate it. (disclaimer: I am really dense at times, so it’s easily 98% a “me” problem!)

Anyways, I got the paradise suite on sale yesterday as a sort of err “reward” for a small picking breakthrough, and holy cow is it ever awesome. Like… I didn’t ever expect a plugin to “feel” good while playing it, but it does. The amps, cabs and pedals offer a TON of variety while sounding dang authentic. Only cost me 80 bucks.

Now I haven’t really tried recording with Luna much as I am a massive Logic cult devotee, but jeepers do I ever love the UA plugins and products so far. Killer.

Anyone else tried Paradise? Thoughts?

I haven’t… but I’ve been pretty heavily using a few of their compressor plugins, particularly the Distressor and LA-2A models. They do really good work.

And to add on - I have been using LUNA for almost 4 years now and will never go back to Logic - I loved Logic, but I love LUNA that much more!

@Scottulus - I use this plugin a ton - in fact I sold some amps I use it for tracking and mixing so much. I can get just about any tone out of it. There are a ton of clips of where I use it on my site https://joelpowell.com

Hey! Thanks for the reply! That’s cool that you’re getting on well with Luna - I’ve mucked with it a bit, but I am in SO deep with Logic that it’s tough hahaha I will persevere and give it a good run! Your clips sound great!

I know what you mean - I was FULLY in on Logic when I made the change. The Pandemic ended up being a good time for me to change to LUNA - it’s getting better and better also. With an UA/Apollo interface and Console/LUNA, that no latency thing with plugins is just amazing.
