Upward / downward PS?.?

Hi,
Is it possible to take a lick played with downward PS , and change a few variables and play it with upward PS. I’m naturally gravitating to upward PS esp when I play country and it feels better when adding in hybrid picking??

If you don’t sweep UWPS and DWPS will both work the same way.

The problem is if you sweep: UWPS wants to sweep towards the highest string, and DWPS wants to sweep towards the lowest string, so in cases like that there is no easy interchange.
