Using two different gauge picks

Recently I m using Dunlop stubby jazz 3.00mm and red jazz 3 nylon . i realized one thing that if i play some minutes with Dunlop stubby jazz then if i switch to jazz 3 nylon it feels more smoother than using normal just playing with 1 pick or same brand pick . whats the logic behind it ? @Troy

It’s just feel man.

The pick is probably the most under-estimated piece of gear in the guitarists toolbox - especially when you consider it’s the primary tone producing part of the signal chain.

Working with picks of different shape, thickness, bevel, material - all have an impact on your grip, angle/edge, weight transfer, string transition, overall attack.

I usually switch out between 2-3 different types of my favorite picks in a practice session, just to get used to a different feel. I probably have 100s of different picks from different brands and styles, just so I can experiment and be adaptable in any situation.
