Van Halen-ish rock solo

Not perfect at all but it was spontaneous, fun and it has some good stuff too.

Very good indeed! I liked it. I don’t know why more people don’t reply.

Usually you get more respons to a cover for some reason. :man_shrugging:

I agree, awesome playing! I really dig the vibrato.

What kind of guitar is it? Looks scalloped but I can’t see a Fender logo up there

Glad you noticed the vibrato. Stuff like that is neglected too often.

The guitar is custom made, 24" mensur, mahogany body, stainless steel frets, 008-42 strings.

Sounds great, like Van Halen with wide Malmsteen vibrato :fire:

I got too much YJM vibrato ingrained in me, it comes automatically if I relax and just play.

Fantastic playing and lovely tone! Is that a Seymour Duncan JB on the bridge position?

It’s a Seymour Duncan Lil screaming demon. So you were close with the JB.

Thank you!
It’s custom made by Guitar Works in Umeå. The same guys who did Meshuggah’s first 8 string guitars.

Very Nice ! Enjoyed the Track !
