Volcano and Cascade for DSX player?

Would I still get a lot from these seminars if I’m a DSX player?

That’s a good question…my first efficient movement was DSX and I found myself gravitating towards Anti Gravity. Volcano and Cascade were still really informative…and have since gone back to them since developing my USX. If fact…now that I think about it…I may have been ‘hacking away’ at those courses when I stumbled upon my USX.

If you can, go through them all - you can certainly take the concepts and twist them around for you’re stealing pleasure (i.e. start on an upstroke…or economy style picking when descending as opposed to ascending etc…)

It depends

In principle, the seminars assume that you can do a fast & smooth USX motion already, and build from there.

However, if you are into “fretboard & picking puzzles”, you may be able to figure out some clever tricks allowing you to convert the licks to DSX. These may include starting on an upstroke, including some hammers/pulloffs, using DSX+hybrid picking, changing the fretting etc. etc.
