What does a slash over a note mean? I am referring to this example:

I think it means it’s a grace note, which in practise means the time given to it is subsumed by the time allotted to the following note.
It is a grace note. Normally, the slash indicates that the grace note should be slurred to the main note.
For this particular lick I’d play the notes on the B string witg fingers 2 and 4, then play fret 11 of the G with the ring and immediately slide down to 9. Then the index is well placed to play fret 7
