what is the picking motion on 0:10 when Troy plays UWPS lick? Never seen this kind of movement in uwps position
Wrist / forearm blend. Probably 2:00 wrist motion, with a dash of forearm. Probably similar to this, with more deviation:
In general, there was a lot we didn’t know about forearm and wrist interaction a few years ago when we started doing this, but we’re getting much clearer on how these things work now. “UWPS” doesn’t always mean a pronated arm, and I myself have probably never really done it that way - even though I used to think that I did! We learn over time.
