Sorry, I just enjoy finding things in Yngwie’s playing that differ from his usual USX. This is obviously a variation on typical Yngwie sixes, what caught my attention is how wide the “intervallic jump” is. I don’t think he does it on a single string like this:
b-18-15-17-18-17-15-24
because the stretch is too big and he doesn’t have so many frets. Probably more like:
e--------------------------19
b-18-15-17-18-17-15—
Wrist extension on the last note to curve the path and go back to the b string? Starting on an upstroke to make it outside picking and swipable? Any ideas?
