This is my first Dream Theater cover in a long time. I only spend a couple of days on it so happy how it turned out.

Any insights to difficult passages, or particularly interesting findings when you were learning this?

Thanks for the kind words.
The most difficult thing was actually the very first picking part. Not the speed but JP plays it like a Paul Gilbert kind of lick with the last note on the high e-string. And for some reason every time I did that the last note would not come out clearly. So I changed the fingering to all four notes on the same string- more like Yngwie would do it. Other than that it wasn´t to difficult. Just had to be aware of not rushing the sweeps and play them more relaxed.
