Picking 6's at 115bpm https://youtu.be/2LQwbKXwVsw

Thanks for taking a minute to review - this is actually my first attempt at picking 2 groups of 3’s at 115bpm - i do feel my left hand isn’t up to speed but why not go for it - I really don’t feel any discomfort in my right hand, wrist or arm and actually feel with practice that I could get this synced up nicely - thanks again for any input and keep shredding

Nice, you’ve got the speed happening definitely! I felt there could be a bit more attack and definition though? It might be because of the phone camera mic (and it’s a matter of taste in the end anyway) but it looks like you’re using lots of edge picking and the tone is maybe a bit soft, or not as articulate as it could be.

What about doing 6s but doing only 3 notes on the lowe r string first, and repeating on the higher string the first time. After that, repeating on the lower string too

Welcome @Metalguitarsucher !

Agree with the others that this is a good starting point!

As you noticed yourself, hand sync is a bit off here, and perhaps we could do some experimentation to get a more articulate attack (if you like that sound). For example, you could try a pick with a jazz-3 shaped pick, as those work well with the amount of edge picking you are showing here.

For hand sync, you could try to reduce the tempo a little and see if you can consciously improve it, with “every note speaking”. Then, speed up again and see if you can correct the higher speed too.

Finally, another suggestion we often give is to try a variety of licks that use similar picking mechanics.
You can even keep the picking pattern identical, and just find more fretting combinations that work with it and sound nice.

Let us know how that goes

Thank you for the valuable input (yes even lowing tempo to 110 I can notice a huge sync improvement- I think I was excited that I actually almost was able to do at 115 - it was the first time I even tried to do this at 115 lol)
I will use different patterns as well - great suggestions
I currently use the Michael Angelo batio pick
I really appreciate the input and look forward to conquering these challenges

Keep shredding and thanks again
