Dear Folks of CTC,
Long time no see- life kind of got in the way but as it so happens I still remember fondly the discussions here and as such would like to reintroduce myself with a cover/tribute of Trademark by Eric Johnson.
In fact I do recall members including @joebegly talking about that second speed run (as well all do!) but cannot for the life of me find that thread. Having said that I’m not sure whether it is note for note but if there’s other things besides speed picking that Troy has taught me, close enough has always been good enough.
(Another interesting side effect of speed/economy picking is that it seems to translate into other general economies of motion in terms of rhythm playing and general command over the pick and pickstrokes.)
In any case, I guess it was time to give this one a go ever since I’ve carried it in bits and pieces so here it is. Please enjoy!
